經過兩週的北歐旅行
我對北歐男人有個小發現

此次旅行我帶了23公斤重的行李

沿路上下船, 火車, 公車均無男性協助我搬運

與過去在其他國家的旅行大為不同

北歐女權堪居世界之冠
這趟旅行讓我開了眼界
我驚訝地看到
瑞典皇家衛隊的指揮是由女性擔任
也數次搭乘由女性駕駛的大型公車巴士(比台北巴士大兩倍以上)
基於北歐女性之強悍特質
當地男性認為主動提供女性服務是侮辱女性的表徵
除非女性有明示的表示
大部分的北歐男人是不會主動為女孩子開門 拉椅子 提東西

瑞典的Tango朋友Richard甚至說
當他和母親及姐姐去超市購物時
都是由她們提東西
他只負責挑東西
提重物的任務並非只有男人能做

所以女性在旅行北歐需要協助時
一定要主動開口或用眼神暗示
否則是無人理的

I found Maria Suh from Tangofriends. Even if she is not dancing tango anymore, she still let me stay at her place. I'm very touched by her hospitality. Thank you, Maria! I had a great time in Copenhagen because of you.

細問後得知
他是出生於南韓的棄嬰
被一對丹麥夫婦收養
從小就在哥本哈根長大
熟練多國語言,
卻不懂韓文
也不想去韓國看看她出生的所在地

我很幸運地認識Maria
更感謝她提供住宿給我這個陌生人
Maria十分大方, 細心而且提供我非常多的協助
她的住處十分靠近旅遊景點和中央火車站
而且有很好的採光和景觀
Lucky Me!!!

The Sweden tangocmap is the best tango festival I've ever been to so far. Why?
1. I got my dream tango dance partner-Christian Walker for the class.

He is a very advanced dancer with wonderful personality. With his help in the classes, I've learned and improved so much. After Buenos Aires trip, I've never had so much fun from tango dancing. It's also my first time to enjoy dancing neuvo style. I feel really lucky to have such a great dance partner.
2. Tangocamp is very easy to make friends with other tango dancers.

All of the people stay at the same hotel together. We can easily chat with new friends when we are having meals or relax at Spa area.
3. We can take a rest right after milonga or classes.

Don't have to spend some time to travel between milonga, studio and hotel rooms.
4. One of the best things at Sweden tangocamp is they have very nice SPA and swimming pool at hotel.

All of the facilities can help you to recover from non-stop tango dancing.
5. Since all of the classes are decided by the organizers, we can't choose teachers.

I got the chance to know more nice teachers and have many good surprises from classes.
6. During the festival, I met a great couple from Amsterdam - Gerald and Martha. I once danced with Gerald in Tangomagia last December. He is an amazingly good dancer on top of my list. I had many good dances with him at tangocamp. Both Gerald and Martha are very intelligent, friendly, understanding, intersting, funny, and willing to share with people their ideas. We had some nice dialogs regarding "relationship" which gave me some new thoughts.
7. I had 2 great roommates during my stay at Tylosand.

Both of them are from Oslo. I accidently hurt my wrist at the first night. They took care of me nicely and helped me to do something I couldn't do it by my right hand. We girls helped each other to dress up for the milongas. It's kind of fun....
This tangocamp is so far the only festival I would think I'll go back again!!

這次的探戈營是我最滿意的
也是我唯一會想再去參加的
所有的活動都在同一家旅館中舉行 (上課/舞會/用餐)
不用奔波於不同的場地
很容易在用餐時和不同的人閑聊
認識新的朋友
累了隨時可以回房間休息
活動場地所在的五星級旅館位於海邊
有很棒的SPA設施
跳完舞後
可以使用按摩池和各種水療法來舒緩身體的疲倦
我很幸運地
在眾多女舞者於網路上刊登"徵詢舞伴"的激烈競爭下
還能找到一個非常棒的男舞伴
由於我的舞伴實力堅強
我們在第二天就從advanced被升等到advanced extra
上了很多Gustavo的課
收穫頗豐

The second milonga Night is fun. There is dresscode for every dancer. It's the TV serial "Third Watch" You may see many police men, ambulance personal, patients, doctors, nurses and criminals dancing on the floor.

I bought a nurse outift on the internet. On my way to the milonga that night, a couple of hotel guests asked me to provide service to them. It was very interesting!!

很多男人都開玩笑地跟我說"Nurse, I need service"

"護士"對男人果然有不可抵擋的致命吸引力

My Wrist Got Hurt Today!!!!!!!

Another disaster happened today, I hurt my wrist and I'm so worried if I can still dance tango in the next few days.
After few hours dancing at first night milonga, I tried to walk in a very elegant way with my comme il faut high heel shoes back to my room, smiled at some people from Beltango and said hi to them. Very soon I just felt on the floor in a very ugly way and tired to use my right hand to support my body. The floor on outside of milonga place is very slippery. I should've changed my shoes to walk through that area. Sigh.....

I felt so embarrassed that 3 people from Beltango came to help me stand up. Then I realized my right wrist couldn't move smoothly and felt painful.

Many thanks to my roommates Tone and Gyda. They are very helpful and take care of me. After putting ice on my wrist during the first 24 hours, my wrist felt better. Luckily, I still can dance. I gave every guy a warning before we dance at milonga. I asked them try not to use any force on my right hand, otherwise I might cry on the dance floor^_^
沒想到第一天晚上舞會結束
我就出糗了
本以為穿著舞鞋走回房間是優雅的明智決定
誰知我居然很拙地在Beltango面前摔了一個大跤
真是糗不堪言
恨不得找地洞鑽下去
幸運地是三位Beltango的大帥哥前來攙扶我站起
悲慘地是
我本能的用右手撐住地面
竟然傷了右手婉
導致我右手無法正常功能
幸虧右手對跳探戈的影響並不大
否則我真的會遺憾終身
感謝二位挪威室友的照顧
我的右手腕已經在逐漸康復中

Tango in Stockholm

The outdoor milonga on Wednesday in Stockholm is located inside of "park". A few swimming pools are around. It's nice to have both wooden floor and fresh air.

太陽還是十分刺眼

I'm not sad about the camera, but the photos I took in Sigtuna and some other places today
Sigh..
可能是太累了
我居然不知怎地丟了我的相機
相機是舊的,不值錢
可是今天在Sigtuna和其他景點的照片卻是珍貴的

My Host in Stockholm

Last month I post a message at Tangoportalen to see if anyone can offer me a place to stay. Luckily, I got response from Ahmed who is so nice and friendly. Not only picked me up at harbor, but also showed around all of the tourist attractions in Stockholm. Big thanks to him!!

是位高齡70的老翁
他是第一個成為瑞典居民的巴基斯坦人
他的人生像是本精采的章回小說
在他逃難的過程中
顛沛流離在超過60個國家旅行
曾經在德國慕尼黑摔斷了腿
最後選擇住在瑞典
因為這個國家提供給他生存及成長的空間
是個回教徒
卻常常去教堂
雖然Ahmed年紀大
而且走路時腿有些問題
但是他卻精通各種舞蹈 Tango, Salsa, Jazz, Rock & Roll, Rumba是個不錯的舞者
也擅長射箭,打獵及滑水
更令人驚訝地是
他自學各種樂器(鍵盤, 薩克斯風, 喇叭, 口琴, 吉他, 笛子和一些古老原始的不知名樂器)
家中隨處可見練習的樂譜

老實說
他的家不是很舒服
有些雜亂
但是住在這裡
讓我體驗了瑞典居民的日常生活
而且他是個超級熱心的老伯伯
像個父親樣的照顧我
開車到港口接我
幫我買地鐵票
煮三餐
又兼導遊
帶我逛遍所有的旅遊景點 並熱心講解
還讓我拜訪他幾個瑞典朋友家

我很幸運地
有個很特別的斯德哥爾摩經驗

I took Silja Line from Helsinki to Stockholm This cruise is quite big. You won't feel bored in the journey since there are plenty of activities on board.

你可以跳舞, 游泳, SPA, 賭博, 泡酒吧, 用餐,小孩子也有專屬於自己的遊戲間.
很多北歐人都在免稅商店中大肆採購
這搜郵輪比我在希臘搭的郵輪舒服多了
十分平穩
根本沒有感覺自己是在船上

芬蘭旅遊心得分享

交通

從機場搭計程車到市中心約33歐元

搭公車, 地面電車, 地鐵每次都是2.2歐元,可購買1日券或3日券(我沒買,價格不清楚)

如果住在火車站附近,幾乎所有的觀光景點用步行就可以到達

經過我多方比較,發現這個網站所代訂的旅館非常便宜

比直接跟飯店訂的價錢還好

上廁所

在赫爾辛基上公廁

每次要一歐元(很貴吧)

但是如果你發現公廁有人使用中

就趕快排隊在後面

因為你只要前面一個人關門前進去

就不用付費了

這裡的公廁就像Noia一樣的人性化

超乾淨!!

另外一個免費上廁所的方法

就是到飯店

食

我覺得市場廣場各小販賣的東西都頗優的

平均價格大概是8-10歐元左右

但是在此用餐最好是坐在棚子裡

否則海鳥可是會與人爭食的

Finland Trip - Porvoo 芬蘭

I took one hour bus from Helsinki to visit Porvoo today

從赫爾辛基到Ｐorvoo單趟的車程需1小時, 沿路綠意盎然的景緻讓我有份驚奇,沒想這個在高緯度的國家居然有一望無際的美麗大草坪和高聳青綠的樹木

Porvo是個不大的小鎮,舊城區是主要的觀光景點

After 23 hours flying via Hong Kong and London, I finally arrive Helsinki. I like Temppelioukion Kirkko most among all of the tourist attractions. It's a church which is built into solid rock.

我對岩石教堂的印象最深刻

這個教堂的所在地原來是個大石頭

建築師將它挖空

用挖出的石塊堆砌成教堂的外牆

教堂內部的彩光非常好

有份難以言喻的高貴典雅

卻又不會太過嚴肅而讓人難以親近

我也品嚐了芬蘭著名的馴鹿肉和拉普蘭風味冷盤
這兩道菜就花了我35歐元 啊!!!

Flying To Helsinki on Friday night June 15

After 6 months hard working, I'm having another vacation for 2 weeks. My plan is to travel Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen. I'll also attend the Sweden tangocamp from June 21 to 25.

努力工作6個月後, 我將再出發遠征

No More Milonga Olala

經過仔細的考慮
我很難過的決定停辦星期五的Milonga Olala

當初和David開辦舞會的原因
是希望週五晚上有跳舞的地方
能和探戈好友相聚

感謝大家的支持
老闆Paco的配合
和諸位曾經參與DJ工作的義工們之鼎力相助
這五個多月來
Olala也算經營的還不錯

我真的不認為目前在台北的探戈舞者人數多到可以在同一晚上辦兩場Milonga
出席人數少
讓提供場地的老闆無法獲得足夠的收入
舞會是很難長久的經營下去
而且來跳舞的人也比較難盡興

希望大家能諒解我的想法
對於Olala的死忠支持者
我只能說抱歉了

以後星期五讓我們在堡壘咖啡相見共舞!!!

Jakarta Business Trip 印尼雅加達

This is my first time to Jakarta
It's also my first time to try eat food by hands (without chop sticks, knife or folk)
What impressed me about Jakarta is "TRAFFIC"
It took me only 5 minutes on foot from hotel to office
but I spent 1.5 hours by car from office back to hotel
Now I think the traffic in Taipei is VERY good!!

第一次造訪雅加達
這趟出差讓我見識到幾件事

原來不用餐具
只用手吃飯
是不簡單的
看到印尼同事優雅的使用手拿起盤中的飯菜
我也起而效法之
但是我的樣子卻十分狼狽
飯菜也都無法固定成一團送入口中
好沮喪啊

雅加達的交通真的是很恐怖的
早上上班時從飯店走到辦公室只要五分鐘
下班時公司司機送我回飯店卻花了一個半小時
天啊!!!
我只得在車上用電腦處理公事
相較之下
台北的交通其實是很不錯

在阿姆斯特丹的探戈節結束後, 我便飛向挪威, 拜訪Tom Kjøde, 他是我四年前在德國漢堡tango festival認識的挪威朋友, 在這四年間, 我們只有偶爾交換幾封零星的e-mail, 很感激他對我這個不是很熟的東方朋友, 提供如此熱情的邀約與款待

首次踏上北歐, 又是在冬天造訪, 在台灣土生土長的我, 很擔心會無法適應當地的天氣, 熱心的Tom, 還教我如何保暖, 在寒冷的北國生存, 訣竅就是,

1.穿很多層的衣服(洋蔥式穿法)

2.羊毛衣是不可或缺

3.在雪地時, 外套及鞋子要有很好的防潮功能

Tom的父母氣質絕佳, 博學多聞, 在我到訪前, 便已閱讀百科全書關於"台灣"的介紹, 他們對台灣的一些統計數字, 可是比我熟悉, 在我造訪期間, 他們很興奮地且關心地問我有關兩岸問題及台灣的慨況

我的跨年夜是在挪威著名的滑雪聖地Voss度過的, 整片山脈放眼望去,都是靄靄白雪, Tom的父母在此蓋了一間非常溫馨而有特色的小木屋, 從窗戶望外可看到滿覆白雪的山景及散落於山間的小木屋, 真是美不勝收, Tom的母親還精心地為我烹調各式美味的挪威菜, 有鮭魚, 羊排, 馬鈴薯, 沙拉及甜點等, 在用餐期間, 不時有鄰居小朋友按門鈴, 她們都打扮成像是萬聖節的裝扮, 開門後, 這些小朋友會唱歌, 表演完畢時, Tom的母親把事先準備好的糖果分送給小朋友, 餐後, 穿著Tom母親的雪地靴, 我在小木屋附近散步玩耍, 第一次坐在塑膠袋上滑行於雪地, 第一次堆雪人, 第一次將雙腳踩在數十公分深地雪堆中, 感受雪的柔軟, 由於我"全副武裝", 一點也感受不到零下十度的寒冷, 反而覺得有點熱, 在戶外的雪地中, 夜晚即使沒有燈光, 仍可隱約窺探出方向, 最讓我難以忘懷地是, 倒數計時前, 家家戶戶所放的煙火, 首次在銀白的雪地上, 看到七彩燦爛的煙火升空, 真的美的太不真實了
