Dubai Trip - Hospital Tour

Many thanks to Ruben who showed his sister, mom and myself the hospital he is working for in Dubai. I'm amazed by the Public Hospital in Dubai. The building and facility are more like a modern hotel, very clean and comfortable. Patients and people working for hospital in Dubai are lucky.
今天Ruben帶著他的母親,妹妹和我去參觀他工作的醫院,因為是急診室和外科,我其實很猶豫是否前往,我是那種看到血就會暈倒的人,出乎我意料之外,這間普通的公立醫院,居然比大多數在台北的三星級旅館還乾淨,舒適,完全沒有一般醫院所特有的藥味和血腥景象,Ruben曾經在很多先進國家行醫過,他說杜拜醫院是最高級的
但是他們非常困擾的是,當有Local的阿拉伯人送醫時,必須優先醫治他們,不管這些本地人的狀況是多麼的輕微,對在急診室工作的醫護人員,有時得眼睜睜地看著受傷嚴重的印度人被擱置在一旁,這真是殘忍不合理的不平等

The best part of my Dubai trip is to meet the Australian family in "Desert Safari "tour. Albert is already 82 years old, but he is full of energy and has very good sense of humor. You can strongly feel his passion towards life. His wife Vicky is 68, very pretty and elegant. They both can speak Arabics, Turk, Amanian and English. Their daughter Sara is living in Dubai, because their son-in-law Chris is working here.

Another passenger in the car is Francisco from Brazil. We all had lots of fun during the trip.

I promised Sara that I'll visit her family in Sydney someday!!

"Desert Safari" is a "must see" to travel Dubai. Many companies provide the service. All of my friends work there recommend "Arabian Adventures" I really enjoyed the tour. Highly recommend this company

四輪傳動沙漠之旅(滑沙)是到杜拜的必選行程,出發前很多來過的朋友都說不值得一試,可是我自己的實際經驗,卻是非常愉快,除了因為和我同車的朋友很棒,選對公司很重要,在當地工作的朋友都推荐"Abrbian Adventures"
我想介紹一下幫我們開車的司機Haijaj,他出生在杜拜,是移民到這第三代的印度裔,令我訝異的是,他到現在都不是公民
由於當地居民的福利非常好,所以對外來移民要取得公民身份有種種限制,是很困難的,在杜拜只有15-20%是所謂的當地人,60%的居住者是來自印度,個人認為這種移民制度遲早會出現大問題的

Why Thai restaurant in Dubai?? Because 2 friends recommended it, and it's so close to the place I'm staying.
I have to say...the food is really good here. Definitely worth a try!
