Salsa @ Xperience in Hong Kong

I really love this Sunday night salsa party in Hong Kong. The host is super friendly. He even introduced me to the crowd that I'm from Taipei and asked people to keep me dance all night. The music is excellent!! After 2 hours salsa dancing at the party, I feel salsa is back to my life again. Hm...how come I forgot to take photos!!!

A Brand New Tango Place in Taipei - Tanguisimo

Feel happy for Stacy and Daniel who finally have their own tango place "Tanguisimo" to teach and host milonga. "Tanguisimo" is designed by our tango friend Julian. It's one of the best tango places I've ever been to around the world. This place is very classic with good atmosphere. Tango dancers definitely have to visit it!!

Exective Floor @ Park Lane Hotel

Due to many fairs in Hong Kong recently, the cost for each night to stay at Park Lane Hotel is HKD2,250+13% during my business trip. It's really too expensive in terms of the quality. Good thing for this hotel is the location. It's really close to our Hong Kong office, just one block away, it's also close to all of the shopping places in Causeway.

Went on a hike with mom

Don't remember when was the last time I went hiking with mom. I'm really glad we two did it again. In my childhood, one of my nightmares was to go hiking with family in the early morning of every weekend. Mom "forced" all of us to do it no matter it's summer or winter. The only exception is rainy day. I used 'study" as a good excuse to escape from the family activity since high school. Now I kind of miss those family time.
My apartment is on a small hill, there are a couple of hiking trail in my neighborhood. So I can just walk there without driving, isn't it wonderful??
小時後最大的夢懨就是假日的登山, 不論冬夏, 健康的媽媽總是強迫全家到鄰近的登山步道爬山, 而且都是在很早的清晨, 我幼年時, 鮮少可以躲在被窩賴在床上享受慵懶假日清晨, 直到國中, 我以課業為由, 才得以在家人的假日登山活動中缺席
年紀漸長後, 卻越來越愛登山,喜歡和大自然接近, 享受雙腳踩在自然黃土的真實感 (我不喜歡走階梯), 自從五年前迷上探戈後, 我的登山活動好像就此畫上了休止符
今天心血來潮, 打電話給住在咫呎之遠的媽媽, 邀請她一同到後山走走, 母女兩就在這個涼爽的午後, 在家後方的"二叭子植物園"消磨了二小時, 沿路風景還算清幽,但是藍色的電線杆和周圍的景色顯的相當不協調, 新店市公實在不該加諸政治色彩於此....

Lance's Going Away Party

Lance is relocating to Shanghai as president of BMS China. He is no longer living in Taipei. This party is to congratulate his promotion and let his friends to say good-bye to him. It's a potluck party. Every guest prepared one dish which Lance will miss most in China. Half of guests brought desserts to the party. Guess most of people think Lance likes sweets.
Many thanks to Vera who helped me to cook a very nice soup at Lance's kitchen. It tastes really good!!!
因為Lance高升為總裁,轉調到上海,我們一群朋友便在他家中辦聚會,和他道別,每個參加者都要準備一道菜,在Vera的全力協助下,我順利完成了下圖中美味的酸菜白肉鍋,真的好好喝喔!!

The world is really small!! Guess What?? I met my nephew Dyland's teacher at the party. Both Melissa and I like Dylan very much. He is such a cute little boy. (2 years and 9 months)

What a party!! Before we left, the host Lance gave us some food, desserts and alcohol!! What we took away is even more than we what brought to the party! Lance is a very generous and nice guy!! Too bad he is moving to Shanghai!
這真是個有吃又有"抓"的好聚會,由於Lance已經不住在這兒,所以每個參加的客人都分到了為數可觀的甜點,食物和酒, 比我們帶來的東西還多,大家忍不住想拍照存證以玆紀念,這個大方的主人會讓大家想念很久的!!!!

Soccer Game - Lazio vs. Atalanta

I watched soccer games on TV a couple of times before. This is my very first time to see it in person. It's a very fun experience. People sat in the stadium were very into the game. Our group got other people's attention immediately when we walked into the stadium. They must be wondering why we showed up there....stupid tourists!!

這是我第一次觀看現場的足球賽, 我們買的球票位置非常好,每張66歐元,為了有效管制暴動,購買球票要有當地保人,而且是採記名式,進入會場時,更有嚴密的安全檢查,連罐裝飲料都不得攜入

雖然比賽的兩支隊伍不怎麼強, 座位只有四成滿,仍可清楚的感覺到義大利人瘋迷足球的熱情,比賽前,球迷會為支持的球隊高喊口號,唱隊歌,比賽時,更是會隨著賽事而有明顯的情緒起伏和尖叫,我和同事們都十分認真的觀察場上的比賽和觀眾席的反應,我們這群只懂"看熱鬧"的觀光客,和周圍人群顯的十分不協調

義大利足球賽和美國的棒球很不同,在美國看棒球的球迷,沒有很關心在場上的球賽,大家好像是去野餐,隨興的和四週人聊天,吃熱狗,喝啤酒, 義大利球賽的觀眾,非常專注的看比賽,連賣飲料的小販,都志不在賣東西,緊張時刻,就坐下來停止銷售,莫怪呼在重要賽事時,常有暴動發生,因為大家把輸贏看的很重要
