原本只是請兩天假
到舊金山參加Zoe的探戈婚禮
這種瘋狂舉動讓我的直屬主管覺得不可思議

"既然人都到美國了, 何不到總公司上班幾天, 和幾位部門中的資深主管碰面聊聊,增加自己工作技能並且建立關係??"

所以這趟美國行就從2天變成2週了!!
我也可以藉此到紐約度過週末
在曼哈頓逛街
看百老匯歌劇
參加六週年紀念的all night milonga
並到長島拜訪Lilian...

期待中......

Chris' B-Day Party at China Pa

Ping, Christine, Lance and I organized a surprised B-day party at China Pa for Chris. We pretended that we didn't know it's Chris' special day during dinner. After Live Band's first song, the singer started to sing Happy B-day song and some staff from Cina Pa did some shows to celebrate Chris' b-day. They also offered Chris a big bowl of alcohol for free. Can't believe that he finished all and still could walk out of China Pa.

Jim's Farewell Party

Jim Grills is my favorite boss and will be moving back to US next month. He'll manage us remotely though. During Jim's business trip in Taipei, I host a samll farewell dinner party at a french restaurant Louis XIV. Awesome food, great wine and a group of wonderful friends....

Vietnam Trip – Going Home

After one week training in Vietnam, I'm ready to go home today.
It is raining a lot.. On my way to airport, all of the major streets are flooded. I feel like “sailing” on the street. I was so worried that my limo might be broken at any time. I might not be able to catch my flight on time.
Luckily, I arrived airport safely after “sailing” on the street for one hour,.
胡志明市今天下著傾盆大雨
到處都積水數十公分深
在駛往機場之途中
真憂心我搭的賓士車會拋錨在路上
雙腳很明顯地感覺湍急的水在車底流動著
當看到車子接近機場的那一刻
心中大喊”感恩啊!”

Vietnam Trip – KTV night

What a fun night!

A group of us went to Karaoke to experience the interesting entertainment in Vietnam. The most interesting part is we could listen to 6 different languages of songs, Chinese, Taiwanese, Cantongnese, Japanese, Vietnamese, English. I just realized that most of my colleagues from different countries are so talented in singing. Cool!!!
It's my Indian colleagues Manish's first time to sing in public. After tonight, he is not Karaoke virgin anymore.

Vietnam Trip - Cruise Dinner

We had dinner at cruise tonight. Besides having meal with buffet style, we could also enjoy live band and traditional Vietnames dance. We all danced a lot at cruise and had great fun.

船上還安排了各式表演

很多害羞的同事也嘗試放開身手一起同歡

大家的距離越來越近了

感情也越來越融洽

Vietnam Trip - Walk Across Street

To walk across street within heavy traffic is a very challenging task in Ho Chi Minh City. However, you can see some guys in green outfit on the street to offer help and guide you to make it.

因為沒有明確的號誌燈

街上又佈滿橫衝直撞的汽機車

穿越馬路在胡志明市真的很恐怖

但是隨處可見可愛和善的綠衣人

協助觀光客通過馬路

這實在是個有趣而有貼心的服務!!

Vietnam Trip - BMS GSSM Training

I really love to work for BMS because work is always challenging. My experience in facilitating training session has always been Chinese. In Vietnam, I had my first experience in English. I was so nervous before my session. I didn't go out to have fun and just stayed in hotel room to prepare. It turned out that my session went pretty well. Many thanks to Georgia Barker who had been working with me together and helped me to modify my script into better English. Greek are always very nice to people.

I got one surprise today. Didn't expect I can get Core Behavior Award from GSSM. Bill said I'm the first one from Asia Pacific to get the award which made me really happy!!

Vietnam Trip - Sea Food Restaurant

We had a team dinner tonight. The seafood restaurant was so good. I ate a lot!! I probably will gain some kilos after the trip.

Vietnam Trip - Dinner at Nam Kha

Nam Kha is a very well-decorated Vietnamese style restaurant. Went there with Bill, Georgia, Helene, Brian, Tepi, Grace and CH. We had lots of spring rolls and crabs. Highly recommend this resturant.
