四輪傳動沙漠之旅(滑沙)是到杜拜的必選行程,出發前很多來過的朋友都說不值得一試,可是我自己的實際經驗,卻是非常愉快,除了因為和我同車的朋友很棒,選對公司很重要,在當地工作的朋友都推荐"Abrbian Adventures"
我想介紹一下幫我們開車的司機Haijaj,他出生在杜拜,是移民到這第三代的印度裔,令我訝異的是,他到現在都不是公民
由於當地居民的福利非常好,所以對外來移民要取得公民身份有種種限制,是很困難的,在杜拜只有15-20%是所謂的當地人,60%的居住者是來自印度,個人認為這種移民制度遲早會出現大問題的

老實說,我不習慣在這裡跳探戈,原因如下
1.音樂很糟,沒有章法,沒有Cortina
2.大多數舞者跳完一首或兩首就休息,根本沒有一個Set的概念
3.沒有人跳close embrace,滿場的Bleo和Gancho紛飛
杜拜得天獨厚,有眾多高級旅館,所以舞會場地都很棒,這是我覺得唯一的優點

在阿布達比搭計程車和杜拜不一樣 ,司機並沒有用Meter,必須議價, Liagia和我聯手和這位巴基斯坦司機殺價,最後以2小時約700元台幣的價格成交
