Vietnam Trip - Dinner at Nam Kha

Nam Kha is a very well-decorated Vietnamese style restaurant. Went there with Bill, Georgia, Helene, Brian, Tepi, Grace and CH. We had lots of spring rolls and crabs. Highly recommend this resturant.

Vietnam Trip - New Airport Open on August 13, 2007

The new International Terminal has been completed and was opened on August 13, 2007. This four floor terminal is to be opened officially on September 2 and will increase capacity to 8 million passengers a year and the total capacity of this airport will reach 15 million passengers per year. The old terminal will become fully domestic.

5th Taipei Tango Festival

This year, we have more than 350 dancers from 15 countries for Taipei Tango Festival. Many thanks to Daniel and Stacy who organize such a wonderful festival in Taiwan.
It's my second year to be the MC for Friday and Saturday milonga at the festival. I'm very happy to work with Christine to host the big events.
My feet are really tired because of long hours dancing. But I did have a wonderful time....

很高興看到許多久未謀面的老朋友
探戈圈真的就像是個大家庭
今年是我和Christine在探戈節第二次擔任主持工作
我們兩個的默契似乎更好了

台風穩健又專業
有了她的友情贊助
整個活動真的是增色不少
經過連日的舞會和探戈課程
我的雙腳已是疲憊不堪
對我而言, 這真是個愉快的折磨啊!!

My colleague Devendra took me to see how people shoot movies in Mumbai. I also took photos with 2 famous movie stars, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.

寶萊塢是位於印度孟買廣受歡迎之電影工業基地的別名, 每年出產的電影數量和售出的電影票數量, 高居世界第一。寶萊塢對印度以至整個印度次大陸，中東以及非洲和東南亞一部分的流行文化都有重要的影響
印度同事Devendra以前是位職業歌手, 認識很多印度演藝圈的知名人士, 透過他的安排, 此行我得以參觀寶萊塢電影的片場。寶萊塢的電影通常是音樂片, 幾乎所有影片中都至少有一段唱歌跳舞的場面, 片場內十分熱鬧,有很多非常美艷的俄國辣妹跳著勁舞, 可惜我不能拍照
參觀同時, 同事很興奮地安排我和兩位巨星拍照, Bobby Deol 和 Sunny Deol, 他們兩人是兄弟, 我對於這兩位演員一無所知, 但是事後看到照片的所有印度人都告訴我, 這兩個人在當地是家喻戶曉的

India Trip - More Indian Food

I've never had so many Indian food in my whole life. Don't know how to get decent non-Indian cousine here. My stomach is feeling something wrong.

都是咖哩和一大堆不知名的重口味料理
才兩天
就把我的胃搞的很不舒服
有種上下翻騰又帶點溫熱的不適
旅行過很多落後貧窮的國家
但是從沒有如此的經歷
第一次我了解到什麼叫
"水土不服"
